Smart door systems that improve public safety

The client, our long-time partner, decided to upgrade its flagship product. The Scalo team was tasked with equipping the smart doors with IoT sensors that detect and count the number of people passing through them. This makes it easier to manage space occupancy and safety in industrial and public settings. Using a cloud-based infrastructure, the sensors relay information about crowd intensity to venue operators. We also worked with a prototype of the sensors to ensure full compatibility of the software with the hardware. 

Venue operators can view data on their doors and associated spaces on dedicated dashboards. We also developed mobile and web interfaces that integrate with the sales system and enable our client to provide specialized offers to their customers. 

As a result, the organization maintains their industry leadership as a provider of innovative physical security solutions.
