One of the largest global retail banks, serving personal and corporate clients worldwide.
Project
To support digital banking growth, the client needed to modernize a key credit system. Their monolithic setup made it difficult to introduce new features and scale flexibly, so they modernized the system to a microservices architecture.
Our team updated the application, introduced new features, and digitized credit processes such as scheduling. Moving to microservices can introduce challenges in managing a distributed system, as independently deployed services require reliable communication and monitoring. The QA team worked on standardizing these processes to simplify debugging and reduce errors.
Managing multiple services can also create operational overhead, which was addressed through a DevOps approach and infrastructure planning.
The shift helped the client roll out new features faster, scale services independently, and improve system stability.
